
Jacqueline Van De Velde, Associate Editor
Jacqueline is a sophomore International Affairs and English major from Saint Simons Island, GA. She hopes to be a human rights attorney, working at the crossroads of law and public policy to promote religious freedom nationally and internationally. Through the UGA Foundation Fellowship, Jacqueline has been able to travel substantially, taking trips ranging from studying at Oxford University to teaching in a third-grade classroom in Kakumdo Village, Ghana. She currently interns at the U.S. Department of State, working to promote human rights, religious freedom, and tolerance around the world. When she’s not writing hard-hitting articles for the Georgia Political Review, she enjoys reading, playing Quidditch, and baking chocolate-chip cookies.
